ARTICLE IV - Dues
SECTION 1. Entrance Fees
Standard entrance fees for members shall be as fixed by the
Board of Directors from time to time but in no case shall be
changed more than once in two (2) years. When a member is elevated
to a higher membership grade, he shall pay an entrance fee
as fixed by the Board, except that no fee shall be required
for elevation to the grade of FELLOW. The entrance fee shall
accompany the application and shall be returned if the application
is rejected.
SECTION 2. Annual Dues
The annual dues for FELLOW, REGULAR MEMBER, ASSOCIATE MEMBER
and AFFLIATE MEMBER shall be as fixed by the Board of Directors
from time to time but in no case shall such annual dues be
changed more than once in two (2) years. Annual dues shall
be payable in advance, before the start of the fiscal year.
SECTION 3. Assessments
Any additional money required to carry on the activities of
the Association may be raised through assessments, the total
of which, for any one fiscal year, shall not exceed the annual
dues.
SECTION 4. Manners of Payment
The Board of Directors, at its discretion, may upon application
from any member and for justifiable causes, allow the remittance
of part or all of the dues or assessments of the member or
the extension of the time for payment.
SECTION 5. Contributions
The Board of Directors is empowered to receive contributions
from any source, provided the funds so receive are used to
further the objectives of the Association. |
